Wrapping It All Up

We returned home a week ago. We’re always glad to be back, but we never really want to leave France. We got to see many of our friends here, but missed many, too, who were busy or gone the ten days we had in Bois-le-Roi. We’ll be back in our “home-away-from-home” in France next April for our usual three-month stay, so we’ll look forward very much to seeing all our great friends there then.

Thanks for “tuning in” to our blog. See you in April! À bientôt!

Laurie saying goodbye to Chateau Fontainbleau. This is one of our very favorite places to walk; beautiful gardens and lakes and this chateau, lived in by every king of France from Louis VII (1137) to Emperor Napoleon III (Napoleon Bonaparte's nephew). Every last visit we say not "goodbye" but "au revoir" - "Until next time."

Send me an email about this post. I won't post it on the blog, I promise.
